Are you ready for the Apple Watch?

I’ve been waiting for this moment for years…Apple has sent out announcements to the media about their latest event. On March 9th at 10am PST 1pm EST we will hear all about the Apple Watch. The event takes place at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.

Apple first unveiled a preview of the Apple Watch last September at special event next to the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Pay. Apple said we would see the Apple Watch in early 2015. Apple has been rumored to be working on a watch for several years now. Even before Steve Jobs passed away. Many thought it would be called the iWatch, but we would later learn it would be called the Apple Watch.

Apple is coming off of a huge launch with the popular iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus and this couldn’t be better for Apple. This means great things for developers too who will be able to develop apps for the Watch using the newly released Watch Kit.

What Do We Know About It?

We saw a preview of the Apple Watch last fall but there is still little we know about it. We do know that pricing will start at $349 for the basic sport addition. Tim Cook also announced recently that the Apple Watch will ship in April. Apple Watch will be compatible with the iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6 and 6 Plus

But we will likely learn everything about it on March 9th.

Where to Watch

You might be asking yourself is Apple going to steam the event? Yes, Apple will provide a live stream on apple.com/live or accessible via the Apple Event channel on Apple TV. If of course you miss the Event, you’ll be able to watch it online.

Meanwhile, while you wait you can watch the Apple Event from September which featured a preview of the Apple Watch.
