The Nokia Lumia 1520 no longer available

Since its release, the Lumia 1520 has been the poster-boy for Windows phones. The first “phablet”, the 1520 is still one of the best Windows phones that has been made. Both the Microsoft store and AT&T’s website no longer show this model for sale.

Most in the Windows Phone world have considered this to be the flagship model thus far, but with Windows 10 coming out this year, it’s starting to show its age, and Microsoft has promised us a flagship that will be Windows 10 ready. Although they haven’t hinted at anything more than that, I’m sure most of us are hoping it’s a good replacement for our 6″ retired friend. Rest in peace 1520, you will be missed by many.

The 1520 sported a 6″ 1080P LED Gorilla Glass screen, a 20MP rear camera and a 2.2GHz quad-core processor, along with being 4G LTE capable. I will be on the look out for the new flagship and will report when anything becomes official.
