New build avaliable for Windows 10 for phones

Recently, I wrote a news article stating that Microsoft is planning to expand the Windows 10 technical preview to include an increased number of phones.

Microsoft released said update for it yesterday. After a day of the server being jammed up, I finally got my Lumia 1320 updated, and as soon as I get some hands on time, you will be seeing an article from me about it. Keep on the lookout for that.

Interested in putting the technical preview on your phone? First make sure your device is compatible by clicking here. Next, download the Windows Insider app on your phone here.

You will have two options: fast track or normal. This will dictate how fast you will receive updates.

*note that if you select fast track, you will get the newest builds faster, but they may be more unstable.

Next, go to settings and check for phone updates. Make sure you don’t need your phone for about an hour before starting this process, and you may need to check for updates more than once, as you will get at least two updates.
