Pokemon Go Announced!

What do you get when you get three companies like Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, and Niantic (creators of the AR game Ingress)? The answer is something that is very exciting to Pokemon fans everywhere.

They have announced that the three companies have been working on a new augmented reality game for iOS and Android devices.

The basis of this game is you go out into the real world and you capture Pokemon. Your phone will help you locate them, and a wearable helps you “throw”pokeballs to catch them. The watch will light up and vibrate when you are near things you can do in the game, such as wild Pokemon you can capture. This wearable will be called the Pokemon Go Plus.

Once you have a built up collection you are able to fight other trainers and participate in fights to finght exotic rare pokemon that other trainers are participating in. Of course trading is an included feature as well.

The game is slated for a 2016 release and all other details are being kept under wraps. I hope you can’t wait to get out in the real world and Catch em all!
