I’m getting the Apple Watch Nike +

Via Apple

I own the first generation Apple Watch, and I’ve been very pleased with it. I did a review of the Watch after using it for six months. Now, when Apple announced the new Apple Watch Series 2, I knew that I wanted this watch too. Mainly for the fact that it’s now swimming proof. Apple also announced an Apple Watch Nike + model, and I knew that was the model that I wanted, but it also meant waiting until late October to order the watch.

“The Apple Watch has changed my life for the better.”

One of my biggest problems has been not being able to take my Apple Watch into the swimming pool. I’ve been working on losing weight, and the Apple Watch has helped with that mission. I’ve dropped down four pants sizes since getting the watch. I recently just unlocked another achievement in on the Active tracker which was meeting or exceeding my move goal 365 times. Currently, I’m challenging myself to meet my move goal for 365 days in a row. As of today, I’m at 150 days.

Apple announced on its website that the Apple Watch Nike + model will be available starting October 28th. Now it’s unclear if the model will be available in stores that day, but it will  be available online at the Apple Store starting Friday.

Why the Apple Watch Nike + Model?

Well, Apple Watch Series 2 model doesn’t come with a bunch of new features, so I decided that the going in on the Apple Watch Nike + model was a good option for me. It’s the same price as the Apple Watch Series 2 and comes with a sweet looking band. It also comes with some new exclusive Nike watch faces.

I look forward to doing a review of the Apple Watch Nike + model when I receive mine. Meanwhile, if you haven’t check out my Apple Watch Six Month review below:
